Long week...but full of surprises
Well its been a full week! I started clinicals for psych nursing and let me tell you...its eye opening! However most of the people there are really friendly...unless they forgot their meds, then its a totally different story. I start Maternity (OB) nursing this week and I am SUPER excited! I can't wait to get involved in those miracles God gives...its absolutly amazing and I truly believe that this is what I want to do. I believe OB nursing is where God wants me to be...it just feels right.
I am 19 now (since august 27) and actually it doesn't feel any different. My sister took me to see Beauty and the Beast on broadway in cincinnati with Susan and Casey...It was breathtaking. If you haven't seen a broadway production...YOU HAVE TO SEE ONE!!!! I have pictures that I will post as soon as I download them...although they are not of the show cause we weren't allowed.
I also got a dog...thanks to the VanBuskirks! She is a golden doodle named Inari (we think) and she is so cute and good. She has the face and body of a poodle, but the ears and color of a Golden Retriever. She is the quietest dog...except at night when she has to go in her crate. She adores my mom and follows her everywhere...I call her the "traitor dog" LOL! I have pictures of her too but I have to download them. I promise i'll post them as soon as I can.

what to do, what to do
Monday and wednesday:
Nursing (Psych): 9:30-11:20
Religon: 11:30-12:20
Nutrition: 4:30-5:20
I just figured out what is wrong wit that schedule....I have a HUGE time lapse. Its not enough to go home and waste gas...yet its to much to just sit here like ive been doin. Yeah i can go hang out wit some friends...if they didn't schedule classes during that time! Oh well I guess it gives me time to do somethig productive! LOL

Sorry I can explain...okay not really! LOL!
First I want to apologize for not writing sooner...i really have no real excuses besides bein busy! LOL! But a lot has happened between the middle of July and now:
I went to the dentist a couple days ago and it was supposed to be a simple visit...just 2 fillings (that they messed up on the first time and failed to catch a while ago...long story) and file down my two front teeth, since they look like beavers teeth! *grin*. Let me tell you, it was far from simple. I got in the chair and i recieved a couple shots of novacaine to numb my mouth. I realized that i was only feeling numb on one side so she gave me a couple more. The technician let me sit a while and when she came back i was shacking very bad and my blood pressure had gone way up. She put me on oxygen for a while and then they started the procedure. Twenty minutes later the first filling was done and it was time for the second...he started drilling and immediately white blinding pain was there. I gasped and the dentist gave me more shots...this puts me at 13. I was told to sit for a while while the medicine kicked in...and it sure did! I was shaking even harder than before and my blood pressure rose even higher...i was put back on oxygen while they finished the filling.
At the end of the visit i was given a paper and told to take 1400mg of tylenol extra strength...i don't think he realized how small i really was because when i took the recommended dose i fell asleep and woke up higher than a kite!
Needless to say
1. I didn't get my teeth filed
2. It wasn't a simple visit
3. Im not going back to that Dentist!
I am redecorating my room in Black, White, Gray and Red. I just started a couple days ago and i already feel like its been forever. My mom is helping me paint but it still feels like its taking forever. Ill have to get some pictures on here when im done!!

Just bloggin to be bloggin :)
So I really have nothing to blog about...I just feel the need to write and talk to someone. *grin* I had a good day today: It started out really rainy and nasty but then in the middle of the day it turned sunny and beautiful! And yesterday because of the rain there was a huge rainbow that seemed to stretch across the entire sky! It was beautiful and i meant to take a picture of it but I didn't have my camera at the time. Oh well...that seems to be the story of my life :)
My mom made this delicious, sweet, melt-in-your-mouth pound cake yesterday for the church dinner today and I was extactic to find out there were six peices left...so i am going to get off here and eat some!!!! *grin*
P.S. Can anyone tell me how to get my header to look like the scrapbookin look? :)

Its been a while...
I have just realized that it is already the the end of middle of summer!!! I feel like I haven't done anything productive or exciting yet...and time is quickly running out! But then there are days when I feel like if I stopped moving I would just spin off into space from running in circles all day. And yet there are still the days when I wish I could just stop growing up so fast...i mean don't get me wrong I love getting older, but I have just realized what growing up really means: bills, responsibility, no more ordering off the kids menu to get a better price and save money, no more acting like a kid just cause its fun...now I have to grow up and there is nothing I can really do about it! LOL!! But today was the day that I felt unproductive *grin*
Over the July fourth weekend we went to Red, White and Boom in columbus for the fireworks and had a small get-together at my house for a cook out. July 3rd was the fireworks and since I had class until seven that night I had to end up driving up later than everyone else. Now you may ask why did everyone else go up so early...well this is because red white and boom is an all day affair. Its pretty much like a festival and i believe the begginings of my family (The nowells) got there and set up the camper at 11:00 am! But as soon as I got there I went downtown to get a funnel cake...I had been craving one of those for over a month!
The next day we had a very wet cook out and it was that day that I realized that time one year ago Susan, Kaitlyn, and I were in North Carolina! We decided to set off fireworks that nite and I believe they were the best that we had ever had...and Tate Harding thinks it was cause he was lighting the fuse LOL!!
But as my disclaimer to not writing for a while...my cousin came in from Virginia to stay acouple days with us. She is 11 years old and so lovable. I think she had a great time but mostly cause we crammed a bunch of stuff into three days!
